Blessing Vusumuzi Skosana started his first business in small business consulting with organisations
such as Carl Duizeburg en Gesselschaft from Germany, NAFCOC and National Industrial
Chamber in 1998. In the year 2000 he co-founded Vezubuhle Business Furniture (Pty) Ltd; its
core business was the supply of office furniture. By
2004 Vezubuhle had grown to a point that they established an in-house chair manufacturing
facility.
In 2008, Vusi developed an interest in private equity investments. The aim is to buy into medium-size
businesses and help them to grow by giving them the necessary support in terms of
both infrastructure and finance. As a result of this vision Iconic Ventures (Pty) Ltd was born in
2011.
Vusi holds a BIuris degree (UniLimpopo), Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration
(Thames Valley University, London) and a Masters in Management (Entrepreneurship and New
Venture Creation) from Wits Business School. He has previously served on the Board of the
Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), which is an agency of the DTI, Council Member
at the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) - Radiology and Clinical Technology,
and as a non-executive Director of the Board of the Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency
(MEGA). He is currently serving as a Council Member at the Health Professional Council of
South Africa (HPCSA) – Medical and Dental Board.
